On your device
The catalog is included with ECAM Helper. Search, filtering and browsing run on your device. The app has no accounts, sign-in, advertising, analytics or tracking. Search and browsing history are not saved.
Preferences
Bookmarks, interface language and appearance are saved in local app preferences. They are not sent to the developer. You can change these settings and remove bookmarks in the app. Depending on your device settings, iOS backups may include these preferences; ECAM Helper does not provide its own synchronization.
App Store version checks
When you open or return to the app, ECAM Helper can check Apple's public App Store catalog, at most once every 15 minutes. You can also check manually in Settings. The request contains the app identifier and App Store country. Apple receives the IP address and connection information needed for the HTTPS request. Catalog contents, bookmarks, search text and language or appearance preferences are not sent. Requests use no cookies, credentials or persistent network cache. The check does not install an update automatically, and a network failure does not prevent offline use.
Permissions and support
ECAM Helper does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or notifications. If you choose to contact support, your mail app opens and you decide what to send. Support correspondence is used to answer your request. App Store and website links open external services under their own privacy policies.
Earlier versions
When upgrading from an earlier development build that offered sign-in, ECAM Helper attempts to remove the old local session and downloaded cache. If protected storage is unavailable, cleanup is retried at a later launch. This happens locally and does not delete accounts or records outside the device.
